One of the most important things you can do in life is to take time out to replenish yourself.

Our Blue Mountains retreats are so much more than just yoga, meditation and eating delicious food. Our workshops have been designed to nourish your mind and body; to ignite your spirit and tap back into the inner happiness that you deserve.

Whilst you are here, allow yourself to enter into a world of being, rather than doing, and deepen your inquiry into a mindfulness practice and learn how to deal more effectively with the demands of your daily life. All of this in the surrounds of the stunning natural landscape of the Blue Mountains, NSW Australia.

Where you you'll find your inner spark with an uplifting program of mindfulness, meditation and music...

Begin each experience with curiosity and an open mind.

You may practice yoga daily or this may be your first experience, it won’t matter, this retreat will hopefully be something new for all of you, and allow you to see yourself and each other in a different light. We encourage each of you to experience each activity with a full heart and an open mind. We are all equals here, no one will judge you or push you beyond your limits. Our Midweek and Weekend Retreat programs are 2-Night retreats and prices are based on twin-share rooms. We also have special events which we will announce via our social channels and on our newsletter

INNER JOY Retreat Timetable

Everything on the timetable is optional, you are welcome to do as much, or as little as you like.

 

Arrival Day 1

4:30pm – 7:15pm ~ Check-in

Relax, make a cup of tea, have some nibbles, and settle into your blissful environment.

4:45pm – 5:45pm ~ Slow Flow

7:00pm – 8:30pm ~ Dinner Delight

8:30pm – 9:00pm ~ Welcoming

9:00pm – 9:30pm ~ Guided Meditation (Yoga Nidra)

Guided meditation to relax your body, quieten the mind, and allow you to find that place of stillness inside.

10:00pm until breakfast ~ Whisper time

Please keep conversations to a whisper at night time and in the morning so as not to disturb others.

Day 2

7:00am – 8:00am ~ Dynamic Yoga

Get your body moving in this intermediate yoga class. Its dynamic flow will leave you feeling energised for the rest of the day.

8:00am – 9:00am ~ Gentle Yoga

Come and enjoy a gentle full body stretch and see how good it feels to begin your day with yoga.

9:00am – 9:45am ~ Break Your Fast

10:00am – 10:55am ~ Meditation Talk

Learn about meditation and experience a unique mindfulness activity.

10:55am – 1:00pm ~ Free Time

1:00pm – 2:00pm ~ Lunch Munch

2:00pm – 2:45pm ~ Drum Circle

Connect to your heart and find your inner rhythm.

2:45pm – 5:30pm ~ Free Time

5:30pm – 6:45pm ~ Yin Yoga

A relaxing style of yoga which is great for all levels. It will give your body a chance to completely let go.

7:00pm – 8:30pm ~ Dinner Delight

8:30pm – 9:00pm ~ Guided Meditation (Yoga Nidra)

The staff were lovely, the view was amazing, the waterfall was spectacular and the food was outstanding. Great weekend to unwind away from the hectic city. Yin Yoga was an absolute highlight for me and I loved that every level of experience was able to join in to any session.

A relaxed atmosphere and a happy environment indeed where you decide how involved you wish to be! A retreat well worth all the time, to recharge oneself .... a comfortable place with lovely views and healthy, wholesome food. Highly recommend it!

Had THE MOST AMAZING TIME at this retreat. I had never done yoga before, and actually went because the food looked nice and I needed a break. The yoga was beautiful, the food was unbelievably fabulous. Basically, just get there!

This experience was probably the best thing I’ve done for myself in forever. The groups were amazing. The food beyond amazing! The drumming circle was the most fun I’ve ever had sitting down and the place itself is beautiful….I’m planning to go again as soon as possible. Absolutely recommend this for anyone who needs a tune up and even those that don’t recognise they need it. A truly enriching experience with so many benefits!

Happy Buddha Retreats provided everything that I didn't know I was looking for!!! The retreat was put together in such a synchronous and harmonious way, that it left all of us - who started out as strangers - feeling like we had known each other forever! Everyone seemed to have found a little piece of themselves that they didn't know they were searching for. And I returned home with a renewed sense of motivation to take on life's challenges with grace and a smile.

Magic couple of days which I can barely fault. Highly recommended. Accomm, yoga, drumming, intentions, activities, food, staff... all 10/10. Go treat yourself.
