How to reconnect to what truly matters…
Our Reconnect Retreat is a curated experience to take time away and reconnect to what truly matters.
How do we reconnect?
Through sessions incorporating mindfulness, meditation, nature connection, yoga & movement, drumming and body percussion you’ll find joy in the simple things.
You might even smile, laugh or shed a tear! When we tap into our innate needs, we become more open and curious, and in turn we find a connection to ourselves and are reminded of how we want to relate to the world around us.
Come as you are for this retreat.
No music, singing, drumming experience required! It’s about letting go, enjoying yourself, being in the moment to enhance a calm and clear state of mind.
The specially curated sessions will open you up to self-awareness. And depending on where you are on your journey, the experience could be triggering, releasing, expanding or even blissful.
Your program:
Arrival Day 1
From 1:00pm – Arrival, camp set up and settle in.
(It’s important you arrive with time to set up and be ready for our 3pm opening!)
3:00pm – 4:30pm – Intro Session in main hall – Getting to know everyone.
Through a meditation game and body percussion, let’s start the journey to find your flow.
6:30pm – Delicious Dinner
8:00pm – 9:00pm – Story telling and guided meditation. Then settle in for an early night’s sleep.
Day 2
8:00am – Movement and Gentle Yoga
9:00am – Breakfast
10am – 11:15am – Meditation Talk
Learn about meditation and experience a unique mindfulness activity.
11:15am – 1:15pm – Free Time
1:15pm – Lunch
2:00pm – Drumming
3:00pm – Free time to have arvo nap, journal, explore the area, go for a swim or chill with your new-found friends.
6:45pm – 7:45pm – Dinner
8:00pm – Night time meditation and sleep

This retreat experience is for you if…
- You are curious about mindfulness and the power of meditation

- You have no musical experience and would like to explore movement, music and sound-making
- You’ve tried other for forms of meditation (but haven’t loved it), and you would like to see if music and movement is a gateway.
- You’re seeking to connect with a group of like-minds, interested in human transformation.
- You have an open mind and feel willing to truly and honestly see where you are in life.
- You are happy to stay at a shared venue ~ and that sometimes means other groups will be camping!
This retreat is led by Athil Singh, a down-to-earth and relatable facilitator (and founder of Happy Buddha Retreats). Athil helps people unleash their creative abilities and connect with themselves in an authentic way. He achieves this through a playful approach, as he feels meditation is easiest when you’re having fun!



Are you ready for a heart-opening experience?
This retreat is an authentic experience of self-discovery, fun and renewal. We’ll start on Friday afternoon at 3pm and finish up on Sunday at 11am ~ giving you a weekend of inspiration, meditation insights and ready to live with purpose, passion and intention.
We’re staying at Glenrock Scout Camp (near Newcastle) and you’ll be able to camp (BYO tent) or stay in a basic cabin. You may even want to treat yourself (and friends) to a glamping bell tent! We don’t have exclusive use of the venue so occasionally you’ll meet other campers (it is a Scout camp after all!) or day trippers who come to surf and hike. And no wonder… the location is picturesque with the backdrop of beautiful bushland and the ocean.
Your $299 program includes all workshops and vegetarian meals for the weekend.
Camping is an extra fee of $40pp when you BYO your tent. Cabin twin-share accommodation per person is an extra $80 (including linen). We’ve also teamed up with GlampInn to provide glamping bell tent options for small groups of friends. (You’ll need to contact GlampInn direct for tent hire.)
