As you learn to breathe and pause, the sound of the ocean will gently support you. As you withdraw from every day habitual thoughts the sound of the birds in the background will ground your senses into the present moment.
And along this journey, you’ll learn beautiful meditation and mindfulness techniques to keep in your wellbeing toolkit.
Join us for Learn to Meditate at Glenrock Scout Camp, just south of Newcastle and edging on an epic national park. This is a beautiful location surrounded by coastal rain forests, rock pools, walks and beaches.

We’ll teach you practical and accessible meditation and mindfulness techniques.
Regular meditation can improve your sleep, lessen your anxiety levels, increase your focus, regulate your nervous system, improve memory and positively impact your life-perspective.
But here’s where we dispel a meditation myth: that successful “meditation” means hours of seated discomfort and unsurpassed dedication.
We truly believe that when you find a meditation technique that suits your lifestyle, you’re more likely to practice (even if it’s just 5-minutes a day) and more likely to experience peace and contentment in your daily life. And that’s where this weekend can support you…
You’ll explore and experience various meditation techniques including:
- Focussed & Grounded Meditation – A more traditional form of meditation.
- Movement Meditation – Calm your nervous system with gentle movement.
- Guided & Visual Meditations – Taking you away from repetitive thoughts.
- Nature Meditation – Noticing our surrounds and connecting with nature.
- Rhythmic Meditation – Embrace your inner rhythm with body percussion.
2-night Learn to Meditate experience
For just $299 per person, your weekend includes an inspiring program, a workbook and nourishing vegetarian meals.
Stay in a twin-share cabin for $60, camp and BYO your tent for $40, treat yourself to glamping (from $320) or stay elsewhere.

From 1:00pm – Arrival, camp set up and settle in.
(It’s important you arrive with time to set up and be ready for our 3pm opening!)
2:30pm – Check in for those staying elsewhere.
3:00pm – 4:30pm – Introduction to Meditation
4:30pm – 5:30pm – Understanding the Science of Meditation
5:30pm – 6:30pm – Free time
6:30pm – 7:30pm – Delicious Dinner
8:00pm – 9:00pm – Meditation and Guided Relaxation
7:00 – 8:00 am – Gentle Movement and Meditation
9:00am – 10:00am – Breakfast
10am – 11:15am – Rhythmic Meditation
11:15am – 12:15pm – Free Time
12:15pm – Lunch
2:30pm – 3:30pm – Nature Meditation
3:30pm – 5:30pm – Free time to go for a swim, explore the area or take a nap.
5:30pm – 6:45pm – Guided Meditation
6:45pm – 7:30pm – Dinner
8:00pm – Night time meditation and sleep
7:00 am – 8:00am – Gentle Movement and Meditation

Are you ready to bring meditation into your daily routine?
This retreat has been designed so you can explore meditation and start an everyday practice that fills you with joy! (And remember, it can be as simple as 5-minutes a day to create a beautiful meditation routine.)
We’re staying at Glenrock Scout Camp (near Newcastle) and you’ll be able to camp (BYO tent) or staytwin-share in a basic cabin. Imagine waking up each day with the backdrop of the ocean and picturesque bushland! Your $299 program includes all workshops and vegetarian meals for the weekend. Camping is an extra fee of $40pp. Cabin twin-share accommodation per person is an extra $60 (including linen). You can also treat yourself to glamping bell tents courtesy of Glampinn (from $329 depending on number of people in your bell tent) which you can book direct with us.
We’ll start on Friday afternoon at 3pm and finish up on Sunday at 11am ~ giving you a weekend of inspiration, meditation insights and ready to live with clarity, intention and purpose.
Feel free to book in with a friend/s or if you are joining us as a solo retreater in a cabin (amazing!) we will buddy you up with roommates. We’ll be providing you with nourishing vegetarian meals during your entire stay!
